The initial brewing process with Krausened Lager is the same as with Budweiser Budvar premium lager. The difference lies in the fact that a certain amount of “rings” is added into the ready-to-consume beer, supplying the beer with a new culture of brewing yeast at its best condition plus another share of the extract. In the transportation packaging (KEG barrels) further fermentation takes place, providing the beer with different sensory and biological qualities distinct from the traditional lager. The tang is stronger or even strong, which favourably affects its fresher and more refreshing flavour. Beer experts will certainly distinguish a slight yeast flavour and aroma. The head is firmer, compact and more stable. The colour of the beer is golden yellow and the presence of yeast results in the beer being not sparkly but clear or slightly opalescent.

"kroužků") v nejlepší kondici a nový podíl extraktu.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - pours gold with a white head. Aroma and taste is grassy and grainy, straw, hay, crisp and light on the palate, medium to light in body, with a nice hoppy bitter finish. Nice!

Draft - from brewery to Taphouse in less than 3 days refrigeated. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of grain, straw, spices, hops, and hints of diacethyl. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, grain, straw, and herbs, leading to a bitter finish. Fresh.

All of what I wrote for B:Original also applies here. Basically the same beer. The only one tapped into glass mugs at a special area of Brutal Assault festival.

On tap at Masné Krámy, ?eské Bud?jovice. Clear golden with a large, white head. Mild malty aroma with herbal and grassy notes and hints of fruits. Moderate sweet with mild malty flavours and a nice herbal bitterness. Tasty and very sessionable.

Keg tap at The Lord Clifden, Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham as ’Yeast Lager’ (4.1%). dark orange, clear and a bit fizzy. Some head but not much. Incredible aroma of wheatgrass, sourdough, roast courgette. Taste is less exciting, but retains a sour-bitter yeastiness not found in normal Czech lagers. A real find.
