This light, pale, fruity and top-fermented beer has its origin in Burton-upon-Trent in England around 1820. Caramelized malts and abundance of American hop add to the significant taste of citrus and tropical fruits.

330ml can from EuroSpar Tomasjord. Dense, off-white head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Clear golden-brown body. Smell of mild caramel and herbal hops, Similar taste of brown malts, caramel, nuts, and almond balanced by herbal hops and pine needles. Bittersweet tail. Drinks well, in fact, quite moreish (Tromsø 21.12.2015).

Boks 33ml fra Eurospar Tomasjord. Gyldenbrun. Høyt luftig skum som daler veldig sakte og etterlater pene filigranser. Forsiktig plommearoma. Lite kullsyre. Smaken fint balansert. Ulike fruktnyanser. Mest sitrus med en pikant tørr avslutning. Svakt uklar siste kvelling.

Can @ Højbjerg tasting, my house. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich hops, fruits, citrus, malt and has a nice fruity finish.

330 ml can. Unclear orange body with a big creamy, lacing off-white head. Aroma of fresh citric fruit, malt, some lemon and grapefruit. Flavor is medium sweet malt, fruity, both fresh and ripe with medium bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Not to complex, but well-made pale ale and a fine thirst quencher.
