When the beer ripens, the taste of honey strengthens and brings a roundness without residual sugar thanks to the refermentation in bottle. The most valorous readily make it a party beer especially served on tap.

No head, bits of yeast float through this blonde beer. Honey and apple aroma. Alcohol, apple, chewing gum and honey in the flavor. Rather thin. Nothing remarkable about this beer. Re-rate: grassy honey aroma. Alcoholic honey flavor. Fairly dry. Clover honey.

Straight from bottle. Aroma: malts, honey, spicy yeast. Medium to full body. Taste: powerful malts, honey, pronounced alcohol delivering light bitterness. Low drinkability.

33cl bottle. A almost clear golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of moderate sweet pale malt, some belgian yeast, traces of honey. Taste of sweet honey, sweet pale malt, some herbs and yeast, sweet finish.

75cl bottle thanks to Eric for sharing this in Eecke. Pours a hazed deep gold, large white head. Some light honey nestled amongst some sweet malt on the nose. Continues through to the taste, further caramel notes, honey remains distant until a late burst at the end. Ok honey beer.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine media persistenza, color giallo torbido, al naso lieviti belgi frutta matura, in bocca malto frutta a pesca e molte spezie, corpo rotondo, citrica lieve acidula, nonostante gli 8.4% l'alcool non si sente (sembra leggera!), carbonazione forte, amaro moderato, secca nel finale. Molto particolare, beverina ma ti bastona!. 30.03.18

Bottle at De Heeren van Liedekercke, shared with Anke and Pieter.
Pours hazy yellow with a lasting, foamy, white head. The aroma contains honey, spices, hops, herbs and yeast. It tastes medium honey-like sweet and light herbal bitter; yeasty finish. Medium body, slick/watery texture, soft carbonation. Plain good.

Helder donkergeel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is kruidig en zoet met sporen van honing en appel. Is wat waterig helaas.

Golden or slighlty darker, transparent. Huge fluffy white head, good retention and lots of lacing. Nice but not too vivid aroma of white bread and slight honey, with a lemonish note and a hint of spiciness. Taste follows the aroma with a white bread base, honey, some hints of fruitiness (lemon, maybe peach) and slight spiciness. Finishes with a semi-sweet honey and floral hops aftertaste. Overall obviously quite sweet but still balanced enough. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation, overall easily drinkable, the abv is spendidly hidden and the beer dangerously feels like 6 or at most 7%. Overall, a honey strong ale with a clear sweet, honey character, but still a nicely balanced and highly drinkable one. Quite nice

From old tasting notes. Cloudy golden color. Creamy white head. Fruity malt nose. Zesty sweet honey malt flavor reminiscent of sweet champagne. Nice spicy hop finish.
