When the beer ripens, the taste of honey strengthens and brings a roundness without residual sugar thanks to the refermentation in bottle. The most valorous readily make it a party beer especially served on tap.

Bottle shared massive thanks to deanso. Clear light golden with white head. Some yeast, cardboard, light honey, corn, sweet malts, light grass. Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Not too bad but stupid strong.

Bottle from somewhere in France. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, sweet malt. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a fruity, light floral hop, alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Trevlig men mindre honung än vad jag minns.

F: white, not long retention, average. C: hazy, non-transparent, yellowish. A: malty, estery, sourness, yeasty. T: Match supermarket Brussels, 0,33l bottle, much better than aroma, malt, dusty, hint of honey, wet paper, woody, medium body, lively carbonated, hint of apple/citrus, interesting, first sip like unbalanced but latter much better.

Pours clear blonde, small and instant fading white head. Smell is bit sweet. Honey, but not in a good way , on top of some malts. Taste is bit bitter, with again a honey sidenote. Not in a thick, creamy mouthfeel kinda way, more like in a sweetened tripel. starts of like an intense, yet one dimensionnal tripel, than the honey kicks in giving it a sweet sidetone. All remains very simple though. Oh, did I mention overcarbonation? rather thin mouthfeel. Not bad, no hate to this beer. Yet questions do rise by who would drink this cause they really dig it more than any other beer ? I can picture no-one. A very very common taste with some honey added...

0,33L bottle (as a gift). Pours hazy golden with off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, fruits, apples, maize and some sourness. Flavor is sweet, sour, fruits, apples and a little bit dirt. Overall: ok-ish.
