Clear dark brown, small light beige head. Roastes aroma with coffee and something that reminds of wet green leaves or fresh wood. Flavour is roasted with sweetish coffee notes. Carb is too high for my liking. Was better the first time I had it.

Buena

Brown black colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel and mint. Sweet flavour, tomato paste and malts. Bit vegetable finish, caramel and roasted malts. Not my favourite stout.

Bottle: Poured a black color stout with a dirty brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry coffee notes with some black chocolates and light bitter roasted malt notes. Taste is also dominated by black chocolates notes with some light bitter roasted malt and light dry floral coffee notes. Body is quite smooth with some creamy notes and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. A lot of flavours without too much alcohol makes this a wonderful early winter stout.

Bottle. Pours black with a smallish creamy head. Not a very distinct brew. The aroma is straight forward burned malts and coffee. Medium body with average carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with some chocolate, and a light, watery finish.

getrunken Anfang 2013,

500ml bottle. Clear darkest brown to black colour with small to average, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty dark malty aroma. Taste is moderately sweet dark malty with hints of treacle, minimally roasty, minimally metallic, almost with a soapy touch in the finish. Just as many other beers from Midtfyns, nothing wrong with this - rich, flavourful, you feel the quality of the ingredients, the caring handling associated with handcrafted beer - nevertheless the taste doesn’t kill me.
