Marston’s Resolution delivers punchy flavours and lots of character. In order to deliver all of that wonderful flavour, which Marston’s is renowned for, Marston’s Resolution undergoes a double fermentation process which turns all sugars into alcohol.

The end result is a strong, refreshing beer that’s less filling and easier to drink. Not only this, but it’s also great tasting with lots of full-bodied flavours which are finished off with a refreshing, crisp note.

Bottle from Morrisons. Coper/orange colour with thin off white head. Not sure what to make of this. Unattractive aroma, bit f malt, but also some nastiness. Some lemoon, some caramel. Bit grainy, not a lot in mouth, not sure I like it, some peppery hop

A dark amber beer with no head. The aroma is of caramel as well as hints of diacethyl. The flavor is spicy and dry, while the body is thin.

Bottled. Golden colour, decent white head. Malty hayish aroma, and like tbone_ said earwax. Light malty flavour with a sweet caramellish finish. Not much aftertaste.

Bottled (BB 08/2005)
Golden color, decent white head. Typical low alcohol (though this is low carb, not low alc) smell:malts, grassy hops and earwax. Very light palate. Fizzy carbonation. Light malty with candy sweetness. Hard to find hops. Low carb, high crap, drinkable only when you are really thirsty.

(275 ml bottle). Commercial description: "Full flavoured English beer" - my ass! Weak malty aroma, very weak flavour. They sure haven’t used too much of the Golding and Fuggle hops! Quite dry. I used most of it to wash down a meal. Definitely not a beer I’ll buy again!
