On tap at the Llandoger Trow, Bristol 29/9/2022. Dark brown in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head that left plenty of lacing down the glass. Aroma of toffee, chocolate, red berries and a touch of leafy hop. Flavour was similarly sweet, with more chocolate character, dark fruits and some slight toastiness, before a gentle finish. Ok.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Roasty bready aroma. Malty sweetish, roasty caramelly flavor. Pleasant drinker.

Must be this although the Waterloo Tap had it down as 'Franconia'. Keg. No aroma to speak off, some feint malts? Opaque cola brown. Thin but Creamy translucent white head. Light sweetness with some bitter hints more bitter in the finish. Almost a chocolatey lager. Medium bodied. Thin but as per the Hefe it benefits from soft carbonation. Long finish. I can usually give or take these but does not overdo the sweetness. Good stuff.
