On tap at The Resting Hare Euston as Black Hare Schwarzbier 5.1% Dark brown cola coloured beer lasting tan head. Very tasty dark lager some butter caramel then settles down into something a bit more roasty. Yes decent. Nutty. It grew on me.

(Bottle) Dark brown colour with hints of ruby. Frothy beige head. Malty nose with caramel, dark bread, cola and brown sugar. Malty taste with notes of caramel, cola, brown sugar, black rye bread and a gentle spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, but not very complex. Quite enjoyable.

Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Tiefdunkles Kastanienbraun, klar; reichlich beigefarbener Schaum.
