On keg at the Bow Bar. Appearance - deep opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - dark chocolate, light booze. Dried blackcurrant. Taste - oh boy, intense liqueur notes, nutty, strawberry, figs and wood. Treacle. Lightly oxidised. Palate - medium to full bodied with a creamy rich texture and a rich but fairly elegant finish. Overall - lovely stuff. Elements of Old Ale style on there.
