A dark smooth lager that showcases the coffee and chocolate malt flavours alongside the piney Simcoe and Columbus hops. Brewed using a traditional Czech pilsner yeast and lager confitioned for four weeks.

Bottle shared with and courtesy of Grumbo with ITFCDan. Aroma of ash, roasted malts, malty and coffee. Nice roasted malt finish, average carbonation. Good.

30/10/2021. Can shared with ITFCfan and ITFCDan. Bought direct from the brewery. Pours clear dark ruby brown with a frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, citrus, dark fruit, earthy edge. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Oily texture, average carbonation.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Deep colour brown with a thin tan head. Aroma roasted malty and chocolate. Taste light and fresh. Medium crisp body.

Cask at the St Albans Beer festival 2019. A hazed nutty brown coloured pour with a fading beige head. Oiky. Aroma earthy brown bread, light tang, oily. Flavour is composed of light tangy, grainy, sharp, apple, brown bread, nutty malts. Palate is semi sweet, oiky, flabby, light tang, ok.

Mocha crema. Blackcurrants. A little earthy. Some malt seems to be too roasted. A nice beer.
