lattina 50 cl, schiuma bianco sporco media grana persistente, color oro limpido, al naso agrumi frutta tropicale note floreali, in bocca malto leggero biscotto agrumi frutta tropicale, corpo leggero, watery, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro percettibile, media secchezza. Notater fra Furuveien, sammen med Petro og Per: klar gylden med ok skum. Svak aroma men heldigvis tydeligere smak, lett floral med citrus og hint av gule druer, dog uten at vi følte oss som særlig bedre mennesker etterpå. 0,5 flaske fra Marens importkoffert.

500ml bottle. Drank from the bottle while riding through Newcastle, England. The Hobgoblin Gold is about as generic as any golden/blonde lager gets. It's fine. Euro pale malt flavor. Very minimal bread notes. It's just okay at best. Medium body and light carbonation. Light bitterness. Underwhelming.

Közepes, tartós, fehér hab, sötét borostyán szín. Enyhe, fűszeres, trópusi gyümölcsös illat. Erősen visszafogott, citrusos, füves ízvilág. Könnyű, enyhén szénsavas, enyhén kesernyés. A visszafogottsága miatt nagyon jól iható, de éppen emiatt egy kicsit kevésnek éreztem.

Old rating from 20-01-15 - 500ml bottle, poured at home in Jersey. It's amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, citrus, flora, honey, biscuit & malt. Medium body. Light malty bitter finish. Highly enjoyable golden ale

Bottle at home, köszi anya! Pours deep, clear golden. Slight earthy notes, herbal and grass, even some faint citrusy touch and some bitterness in the finish, that lasts surprisingly long. Light body, average carbonation.

Clear golden pour, small white head. Subtle cereal aroma, light grass, and some sweet corn. Flat mouth feel, dull carb. Finish is corny, some cooked veggies, light cereals. Boring.

Bottiglia. Il naso trova impressioni di orzo. La finezza olfattiva è normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Ha una nota finale amarognola. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al palato si fermano note di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, mango, uva spina, anice e arancia.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is grainy malt with soft fruity and hoppy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium body. Unremarkable Golden but not bad, pretty drinkable.
