Porter Cieszyński to piwo dolnej fermentacji. Pasuje do menu: deski ostrych serów, wędzonych ryb, deserów kawowych i kakaowych. Piwo ciemne, pasteryzowane. Składniki: woda, słody jęczmienne (pilzneński, monachijski, karmelowy, czekoladowy), cukier, chmiel i ekstrakt z chmielu. Mętność i osad są naturalnymi cechami produktu.

Bottle from Warszawa airport. Just about as expected. Not great, not terrible. Med-light warmth, not overpowering. Surprisingly rather dry, with lots of coffee and also assertive burnt character, a bit astringent. Could be maybe more smooth, this ventures hard into stout territory, but as I said, not bad. A worthy flight companion.

Sampled as Cieszyn Porter Bałtycki Small to medium, pinkish tinted cream head, opaque dark brown beer. Roast, slightly burned, breadcrust, bit of liquorice. Serious roast/burnt malts & grains. Sweetness backthroat. Tastes as a grab of all the varieties of maltsamples in a brewery. Nuts & liquorice. The sweetness increases warming up. Well-bodied, slick to viscous, chewy. Good carbonation. Classical bottom fermenting porter. Nothing wrong, nothing special. Txs to Stef!

Bottle bought at Piwnica, Wroclaw. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, dark malt, licorice and some coffee. The same in the taste. Easy to drink and kind of relaxed.
