Bottle 500ml. [ As Apostelbräu 5 Korn Bier ].[ Trade by Koelschtrinker ]. Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat ! light to moderate yeasty, a bit like weizen yeast ! Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, wheat - yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160109]

0.5l bottle as a part of bavarian beer set, marktkauf/edeka. pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head and some lacing. aroma of grains, a hint of banana, sour fruits. flavour of fruit juice, bread, apple. no bitterness. somewhere between a weizen and a zwickl.

Bottled 500ml. -from Getränke Degenhart Passau. Slightly hazy golden coloured, small white to off-white head, unpleasant perfumed leather nose. Malty, quite watery, odd cereals and leather/clorophenol notes with touch of rubber in the finish. Intention or infection...that’s the right question here.

Apostelbräu 5 Korn Bier. Thanks Ogi! Poured a murky dull golden-ochre body with a low head. Burnt leather aroma, vegetables,clorpohenols. Same in the taste, ending sour. Somewhat light mouthfeel, smooth and not too bad, but the taste is, the smokey/burnt leather clorophenol taste sticks to the mouth. This is a disaster, a flawed disaster of a beer. This should NOT have been released to the market as it features a beginner homebrewer’s flaw that could have easily been avoided.

Trockener, wenig getreidiger Antrunk. Säuerliche Nuancen, hell, monoton. Kaum würzig, zu trocken bleibend, dabei minimal herb. Langweilig. 9/7/8/7/7/7
