Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized yellowish beige head. Aroma is strong maltyness, mild skunky notes as well as some slight dark dry fruits and mild toasted and ashy notes. Flavour is being rather much the same along with some slight wooden and toffeeish notes as well. Quie pleasant.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Dark, almost black, nice head. Starts modest malty, a little bit sweet, not too dry. Shows fruity notes of plums and raisins. Could be a little bit drier, but still a very good dunkles!

[bottle] Clear, dark brown colour with medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Light-sweet, toasty and slightly ashy aroma with subtle fruity notes and a nice presence of herbal hops. Light-bitter flavour, medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Toast-malty taste with caramel, dark bread and a subtle and almost vinous fruity touch. Toasty and moderately bitter finish with herbal hoppy accents. Pleasant Dunkel [28.I.09].

bottle, Finkbeiner Illertissen. Clear brown colour, mid-sized head. Malty and fruity with hints of roasted malts and chocolate. Slightly hoppy in the finish. A very well-balanced and nicely fruity Dunkles with shy hints of green/unripe banana.

Bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck: Clear, amber coloured, mid-sized, a bit "dirty" stable head; smells a bit like a heavily diluted Doppelbock: subtle fruity traces in the caramelly-toasty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied; solid fruity-toasty finish with some port-vinous influences. Good and pleasant.......

Bottle. Chocolate malt aroma with slight metallic note. Reddish amber color with minimal head. Molasses malt and grass hops flavor - these flavors don’t work too well together. Don’t really like this one.
