500ml bottle. Opalescent, mahogany colour with ruby shimmer and average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, a touch of dark caramel, burnt caramel, rock sugar, toasty, nutty overtones. Taste is minimally sweet, dark malty, slightly toasty, minimally diluted notes of malt lozenge, a touch of dark caramel, slightly nutty and minimally chocolately undertones, light grassy overtones. Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally metallic-repellent palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Typical Bavarian Dunkel, sweet-ish, not overly roasty - OK.

0,5 l bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. A clear darkest red brown in the glass with a big pale beige head. Malty smell, sweet chocolate. Taste is malty, mid sweetness, some grain in the background. Low bitterness. Dry palate to the end. Okay.
