Reviewed from notes.
Can to tall tulip.
Appearance: somewhat cloudy orange to copper color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: clove to yeasty semi-spicy tones with a light vanilla and sweet wheat; subtle banana tones with some doughy/cookie malt backings
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to semi-spicy quality; finishes about the same with a touch of dryness
Texture: medium bodied; leaning towards being a sipper; pretty good smoothness with an expected little bit of kick from the wheat (there we go!); good carb level
Overall: I like this Weizenbock I wish more American brewers would try brewing this style, but that's okay when I can revisit this when I want to.

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours translucent gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of clove and yeast. Med body. Wheat supporting a nice amount of clove and yeast. Possible hint of banana. Nice.

Undated can, canned at B. United/OEC, drunk 4/4/25.
Drab copper, clear, with a large, buttery-beige head of strong retention.
Undercurrent of clove with strong cookie-like malts and mild banana. Vanilla, honey, white bread. Very rich and malty to balance the phenols, which it does admirably.
Soft and malty with strong phenolic notes (clove and white pepper), but allayed, for the most part, by a butter cookie maltiness that is rich but well-attenuated on the finish. Hints of the slightly vinous, house yeast on the finish without bubble gum and only a classy banana character.

Aromas are mainly banana with some malt, yeast and a bit of spice. Flavors are similar to nose, leans sweet, add in a touch of clove. Carbonation and some bitter to balance. Drinkable but nothing special.

Can poured to a dimpled mug at Special Brews. Dark, somewhat dense orange appearance. Rocky foam head. Cool, almost minty constant here, with the amount of banana, clove, amd floral content. Some spices linger late on the palate, with a gingerbread like note. Unique brew, with lots going on. Interesting, and enjoyable.
