We love this fresh and zesty citrus pale, which we make with real orange and grapefruit zest.

Cracking bitter pale ale, with a big bosh of bitter orange and grapefruit. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a frothy white head, and a subtle citrus aroma - that subtlety disappears in the taste though, the bitter orange and grapefruit character shining through, bouncing off the nicely carbonated mouthfeel, and leaving a nice, fruity bitterness in the finish

Can from a Beer Hawk box I was given. Stone fruit aroma with some pine and syrupy hints. Hazy pale gold. Thick frothy white head. Medium bitter. Some zesty sourness but for a citrus pale it's somewhat muted on that front. Hints of underlying malts. Light bodied. Slick but thin. Fizzy-soft carbonation. Dry astringent. Basic stuff and they seem to gave scrimped in the citrus.

Can, Goblet. Hazy golden-orange body, white head, medium retention. Indeed, some sharp grapefruit, almost lightly phenolic, some sharp soft sweet orange, vague maltiness. Soft taste, chalky, light grapefruit, slightly orangey, subdued. Mleh.

Can from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - pale yellow, big fluffy head. Nose - dank initially, then biscuit going into citrus. Taste - citrus again with still a dank undercurrent of biscuit. Palate - light bodied, decent through the middle. Dry finish. Overall - decent.

0,33 l can. Pours hazy, yellow with medium, frothy, lasting slightly off white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet malt, fruity in general, a bit funky. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Mouthfeel is slick, carbonation above average, but it settles with time. Finish is medium long, lemon zest and mild bitterness.

0,33 l can from Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb. Shared with little Dina. Hazy golden to orange, small lasting off-white head. Aroma is moderately hoppy, citrusy, zesty, nice spicy orange, blood orange, but also some ripe fruit, leaves, slightly harsh. The beer is fresh. Flavour is quite bitter, and not as rich, although it provides a pleasant citrus quality. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, light finish. You get what it says you'll get and that is quite enjoyable.

Keg at Mad Squirrel Amersham, 11/01/20. Clear golden with a decent white head that retains well. Nose is orange zest, crisp malts, tangerine, lemon drizzle, melon. Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, light breads, tangerine, melon, grass, pale malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Crisp clean pale ... not bad.

Can, 0.33l. Cloudy orange pour, thin soapy off-white head. Ok retention, minimal lacing on the glass. Fruity nose, citruses, pineapple, slightly yeasty background. Thin body, medium carbonation. Lively on the tongue, fizzy mouthfeel, light texture. Bitter taste with slight fruit tart. Aroma follows the nose, bitter and fruity, some grassy hops and yeasts in the background. Grapefruit, pineapple. Mild spicy. Medium lasting finish, bitter and dry, mildly sour. Not bad.
