Each year, we try to top ourselves by making the hoppiest, most intense IPA we can muster. We sample endless hop varieties during the annual harvest to choose the ultimate mix—flavorful and aggressive, yet refined. Then we push them beyond their limits to reimagine Hoptimum, a remarkably drinkable triple IPA.

12 oz. bottle, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, some pine, caramel and bready malt. Flavour is quite malty, with resinous hops, pine, caramel malt, and bready malt. Resinous and malty. Sweet sticky finish. Good stuff.

Bottled, from Systembolaget, Kiruna. Hazy amber, small head. Grapefrukt nose with grass and caramel. Sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Peppers with honey, grass and grapefruit. Warming mid bitter finish.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Almost clear dark golden with a medium white head. Sweet with pine, marmalade, caramel and grapefruit. Not bad but a bit old. Fairly bitter finish.

12 ounce bottle from Trig's Wausau, 8/12/20. Hazy copper, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, resin, mango. Taste is grapefruit, orange, mango, pale malt, resin, pine. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, booze well hidden. Nice.

12oz bottle from the state store. Pours clear dark golden/amber with a medium sized off-white head, good lacing. Fresh green hops on the nose, then dank, pine needles, resin and grapefruit. Very nice. Easy drinking.

0.355 l bottle from 'Craft Bier Bude', bottled in April 2020. Clear, deep amber with a thin, foamy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, rather fruity-resiny aroma of massive pine, marmelade and a touch of booze. Quite sweet, malty, intensely resiny and gently fruity taste of marmelade, quite some pine, tobacco and grapefruit, followed by a medium long, fairly bitter, rather resiny and a little boozy finish. Full body, smooth, slightly creamy and almost oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Awesome Westcoast TIPA, would love to see more of that kind of stuff!

Bottle from 100 pív. I don't prefer these high voltage beers on hot summer days. But tbh, new hoptimum is always reason for exception. Nice hoppy nose with pine. Bit oily texture, medium to high bitterness. Hoppy, resinous. Nice one.

Bottled 355ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Dark golden/amberish coloured, medium sized off-white head, citrus and some piney nose. Moderate malty, sweet, light caramel, citrussy and grassy with mild piney touch. Some alcohol in the bitter/sweet finish. Very good.
