1, 2 and 3 year old lambic with red vineyard peaches harvested in 2019 and riesling and müller thurgau grapes harvested in 2018. Grape lambics made with extended maceration and post-maceration barrel aging. 2019 was another hot summer, so the vineyard peaches ripened wonderfully, but the acidity was on the low end. By blending in the grape lambic, the beer reached a brighter acidity and a richer bouquet. A symphony of fruits from a beautiful wine region that I love.

Beerrating Nr 15.000 :D

Dug up something special for this B-)
Pours a unclear warm amberorange. Medium small white head fades in an instant. Scent is rich, oh-so fruity and rich indeed ! Pjassel takes the lead ( do look them up if you're unfamiliar with them - I know them trough Bokke and helped Bokke out a certain year to cut and add them to the beer - which is why this was the one I wanted for my 15 k. I'm not even a big fan of fruits, but I was intrigued by how good they were in the beers I had with them, from him. ) Moezel ( grapes from that region ) are very subtile to hidden. A mild lambic funk underneath, with a woody undertone - but all very elegant and smooth, as we came to expect from Bokke by now. Taste is fruit-loaden, again Pjassel takes the true lead, grapes provided a subtile undertone but are very much in the background. lambic funk and woodyness are still present, at a supporting level rather than in-your-face. Medium full body, medium carbonation. Acidity is medium leveled, and starts of quite sharp, malic / citric , perhaps a touch lactic, but zero (or nearly) acetic. It pops up again in the early aftertaste, only to get kissed away by a taste-hug of fruityness than lingers. All natural - if you're doubting that I wonder how you even landed on this page - Smooth and balanced. Might not be my personal favorite Bokke to date, but thats not tdue to lack of quality. If anything, this provides a great example of the skills he mastered.

Bottle shared with friends in Bangkok, thanks to Kermis. Poured a murky reddish brown colour with a very short-lived fizzy white head. The aroma is yeast and peaches. The flavour is moderate sour, with a fresh, crisp, tart peach, yeasty, herbal, vinous, dry oaky palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Superb.

Thick sweet funk, really nice kick of funk, peachy front and a grape must finish. So delish. Packing so much flavor on the front and finish.

Now we're talking. As expected, fairly sour, but the insane amount of fruit makes up for it. Humongous heap of peach here. Sweet, rich, tart and flavourful. Grape adds more fruityness and calms the peach down a bit. Or tries and fails.

Bottle thanks to Max. Pours a cloudy pink orange with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is grape skin, funk, oak. Slick body, grape, cherry, oak, light funk, nice tartness, enjoyed this.

750ml bottle. Smooth, funky and heavy with peach juice, vinous grapes, tartness, hints of sourness and berries. Quite nice. Complex and balanced lambic.

Bokke Bonanza!

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Cloudy orange. Lots of peaches, a bit of apricot, minerals note, some grapes, oak, cobwebs, barnyard, sour, juicy. Wonderful.
