When an apple has a uniquely satisfying and distinctive taste of its own, we believe it should stay that way. This is why Thatchers brings you a diverse range of single variety ciders which includes Coxs, a naturally sweet and juicy cider just as delicious as a Cox’s apple.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a dissipating white head. Discreet apples in the nose with a tart touch. Medium body, astringent, tart apple notes with a whiff of vanilla sugar. Heavy carbonation. 230110

Bottle. Pale yellow in colour with moderate fizz. Light apple juice and syrup aroma. Flavour was tooth numbingly sweet, with a touch of spiciness and apple juice, before an artificially sweet finish. My least favourite cider from Thatchers.

Bottled, from Alko. Pale yellow colour, no head. Aroma is suger, some earth and green apples. Flavour is sour apples along with some slight notes from rotten apples. A rather sweet’n’sour, but at the same time dryish cider.

Bottle from Chass E. Very pale yellow colour. Week but nice apple aroma. Nice sour and very dry apple flavor. Average finish. Oily palate. Nice cider but not easy to drink for beginners in dry cider.

Bottle from the fridge (forgot where this was picked up from) had this 14-07-08 after the Prince William Cider Pours quite light golden colour, there is a light appleyness on the nose but again sweet and the bubbles keep hitting my nose which is off putting but amusing. Its tasty enough but not the best of their single varietals.
