Draft at Transient. Pours a pitch black with a finger of tan head that lingers. Lots of dark chocolate and cacao nib on the nose with coffee, maple syrup and vanilla noticeable with warming rye whiskey. Good body with lots of coffee and maple syrup with vanilla flavors as it warms. Peppery, warming rye whiskey on the finish with boatloads of dark chocolate. The rye whiskey barrel notes work with the base well.
