Opaque black - brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Mild dark malts, little dry. Mellow coffee. The Liberty hops come over as slightly limey here. Finishes dry with both malt and hop bitterness. Not bad.

Keg at the Euston Tap, 15/01/14. Light black with a thin beige head that clears to a swirl and edgeing. Nose is cocoa powder, good hoppy waftings, toffee, dark malt. Taste comprises chocolate orange, hoppy underpin, brown sugars, toffee, cocoa powder. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet notes and a good layer of hoppage in the finale. Decent hopped up porter.

Bottle at the brewery. Aroma is spicy rustic hops with a hint of yeast and choc. Flavour is choc Roasty nutty malt, with a tangy rustic hop. Crisp mineral palate with medium carbonation. Tangy fruit in the finish
