A hefeweizen by the book. Banana-like esters gallore, supported by a creamy and full mouth of maltyness. One can only get so close to the classical German example, I am convinced this one at the very least contributes to a wonderful style.
In the grist nothing too fancy, that would do this one no good. A bulk of wheat and pilsner with some light cara for breadiness and head retention.
Hopped with the German classic Hallertauer Mittelfruh. Noble, grassy and fresh.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen en thuis met familie gedronken. Goudgeel licht troebel bier met witte schuimkraag die als een film blijft liggen. Aroma is moutig en fruitig van banaan, appel en sinaasappel. Smaak is fruitig en kruidig. Nasmaak heeft wat pittigs.

Bottle at home, hazy white beer, small medium head. Aroma is wheat, lemon, citrus, yeast. Taste is the same, wheat, light tart, light lemon, some yeast. Ok

Fles gedeelt met Roelzie1986. Het is een licht troebel geel bier met wit schuim. Het heeft een moutige wat banaan achtige geur. De smaak is tarwe achtig, banaan en licht gistachtig met tonen van kruidnagel.

Tja, dit eigenlijk: Voor een hefeweizen best lekker. Heeft wat minder dat bananensmaakje dan andere hefeweizen en dat is voor mij positief. Niet helemaal mijn stijl dus, maar support je locals enzo.

Voor een hefeweizen best lekker. Heeft wat minder dat bananensmaakje dan andere hefeweizen en dat is voor mij positief. Niet helemaal mijn stijl dus, maar support je locals enzo.
