This is one to take outside (and enjoy in the sun!)
A 4% Wheat Beer with Grapefruit Zest and Orange Zest added, the Huell Melon hops intertwine with the WB-06 yeast to produce those classic subtle wheat beer esters and light fruity flavour.

Tap at mad Squirrel St Albans. A light hazed golden coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is light loose wheat. Little soapy, orange rind,. Flavour is composed of light flinty wheat, bitter lemon, harsh grapefruit, grass. Palate is light uber dry, thin, mineral. Highish carbonation.

Can, gift from Andrew. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and minerals. Flavour of straw and a sharp grapefruit finish. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Sharp and thin. It’s fine but I don’t think the grapefruit went well.

Tap at the Brewery, 18th July 2020. Pours a light yellow orange. Aroma is citrus and fresh, taste has aromatic, zest, pith, really refreshing in the sun outside the brewery, very nice.

Crowler from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Citrus aroma with a clove edge and a good dose of fruit sweetness Light gold. Frothy white head. Medium sour, heading towards heavily so. Lemon juice. Bitter core. Light bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. If I hadn't known it was a Wheat Ale I'd have assumed it was a citrussy pale ale. It's fine. Does not achieve the subtlety the brewery aimed for as per their description.
