Strong blond winterbeer that matured for 8 months on different stonefruits. Tsjeeses was born out of a 5 year brewing experience regarding x-mas beer without being capable of finding a suitable name all that time. With the name came a face, a caricature actually, that was drawn on the day Urbain, our brewing slave, drank too many Tsjeeses’s. Every time he drinks one, he says "Tsjeeses, what a beer". Therefore the name is more an expression of stupefaction than a curse.
We have had already many discussions around the pronounciation of "Tsjeeses". Very close would be that you say "cheeses" or cheese in plural.

Cloudy amber to orange liquid, moderate quickly diminishing head. Very fruity nose. Lemon, melon, tropical fruit, candy, Belgian yeast. Complex. Medium to full body. Oily to creamy. Mighty still refreshing taste. Candy, lollipop, melon, spicy yeast, lemony hop. Light to medium bitterness balancing the whole celebration. Very distinct, very complex, a top achievement.

Bottle shared in swap by ShivanDragon. Many thanks! 2015 vintage. Surprisingly easy drinking, with high carbonation. Classic complex Belgian. Spicy, caramel, soft subtle grassy hoppiness. Alcohol dangerously well hidden. Classic.

Bottle kindly shared by Gurthnar, many thanks. Orange color with small bite head. Aroma of malt, oranges, cheese, earthy notes. Taste, sweet malt, oranges, sugar, spices. Alcohol is dangerously hidden. Good.

Bottle (2013) thanks to Fergus. It pours hazy amber with a small off-white head. The aroma is earthy, bready, warming alcohol, spicy, musty, umami, marmite and old oxidised must. The taste is bitter, earthy, musty, brown bread, spice, a bit dusty, oxidised vibe, leather, cereal and some alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Decent, if a touch old.

Bottle (2011) split with Niller, sourced from Toft Vin, Copenhagen - pours copper amber with a beige head. Sweet malty aroma and taste with some brown sugar, caramel sweetness, splattering of dark dried fruit, yeast, nice spices, enjoyable brew.

F: not very big, off-white, average lasting. C: dark amber, reddish against the light. A: sweet malt, fruity, syrupy, yeasty, caramel, molasses, alcohol, honey, pineapple, grassy. T: malty, dark fruits, alcohol, candy, caramel, sugary, a lot of yeast, strawberries, pineapple, cherries, spices, full body, low to medium carbonation, good BSA, worth to try, 0,33l bottle from De Caigny near Essen.

Amber to copper colored, hazy, small non lasting beige head. Aroma is of caramel, spice, peach fruity, yeast. Taste is medium to very sweet malt, caramel, bit sugar, fruity, peachy, spicy, yeast, very well hidden alcohol. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Actually very light and almost non alcoholic for a 10%. (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)
