It’s no secret that Nelson Sauvin is our favourite hop. No secret at all. To this end…here is the most "Nelsony" beer we’ve ever attempted. We’ve added Nelson on top of Nelson, squeezed a bit more Nelson in, and then finished it off with some Nelson. Super smooth. Super light. Super Nelson.

Can at home, by the fire, 27th November 2020. Pours a light attractive straw yellow orange. Aroma is grape and grapefruit, peach, fresh, it’s Nelson and I do like the smell son. Taste is full on Nelson, smooth, grapes, tropical fruit, especially pineapples. Enjoyable and not too sweet, like some of the Verdant DIPAs this year.

Can at home picked up from verdant online. Ahazed mid orange coloured pour with a lasting rocky sticky white head. Aroma is big dank hop, onion, hockey puck, woody pencil, soft wheat. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, smooth creamy oats, big dank hops, onion, spicy citrus, green mango, warming alcohol. Palate is smooth, hop oils, moderate carbonation, velvety . Very good.

Can, 8%. Hazy yellow with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, grapes and stone fruits. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, grapes, little white wine, sweet, stone fruit, spicy and a little bitter.

Can from Cork & Cask. Murky golden body with a white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of mango and orange. Flavour of pine and pineapple. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Rich and hoppy.

Can at Arde's residence, Helsinki. Color is very cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, tropical fruits, some herbs, hops and malts. Good but not neste ones from Verdant.

Canned 22.07.2020. Thx Tiong. Poured light orange, thick white head. Dank, juicy hops. Smooth, thick and mild petrol notes. Some pineapples. Refreshing. Excellent.

Murky yellow colour, small white head. Overriped tropical fruits, honey and alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweet juicy flavour. Tropical fruits, hops, overriped pineapple, even banana. Unfortunately in these overloaded brews Nelson Sauvin is not at its best.
