It’s no secret that Nelson Sauvin is our favourite hop. No secret at all. To this end…here is the most "Nelsony" beer we’ve ever attempted. We’ve added Nelson on top of Nelson, squeezed a bit more Nelson in, and then finished it off with some Nelson. Super smooth. Super light. Super Nelson.

Can big thanks to my brother - cheers! It pours cloudy cloudy yellow - gold with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is fresh and ripe, tropical fruit action, peach, nectarine, mango, papaya, fruit smoothie, but also a touch of gooseberry and white grape, orange creamsicle, light green vibes and brioche ice cream sandwich. The taste is initially it's quite green and weedy, dank and ripe, nips of pine, then you get hit by a load of ripe tropical fruits, juicy mango, white peach, nectarine, pineapple, orange creamsicle, solera, touch of spice, bricohe, floury bread and boozy warmth through the finish. Medium - fulsome body and fine, foamy carbonation. Nice IIPA NE style. Fruity boozy and dank. Balance works well. Moreish and quaffable.

Can from Kihoskh and shared at home (16/08/2020) - hazy orange with a white head. Big bold fruity action here, medium sweet with lots of grapefruit and mango, lychee, melon, pineapple, sweetish malty backing, pillowy soft substantial mouthfeel, robust hoppy finish. Lovely stuff.

Can at home, from Verdant online, 17/08/20. Murky orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is ripe mango, pine resin, weed, hop spice, dank wafts, dextrose, tropical fruit smoothie. Taste comprises ripe tropical fruits, pine resin, cantaloupe melon, weed, hop spice, pineapple chunks, sweet malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good trace of hop spice and spliced with balanced danko hop bitterness. Tip top DIPA ... ripe and crushable at almost 4 weeks after the canning date.

Can from Beers Ambleside. Appearance - cloudy orange with a foamy white head. Nose - brown apple, greengage and kiwi. Taste - grape and cooking apple. Slightly brown or stewed again. Palate - close to medium bodied. Tangy and creamy in texture. Bitter and tangy finish. Overall - interesting and good. Possibly more interesting than good.
