Dry-hopped during fermentation, Towans packs a powerful burst of fruity flavours and aromas that are deepened by the dense, frothy head. The malt that produces the distinctive head also imparts a wheat flavour that gradually cedes to a clean, citrus finish with a sharp, refreshing edge.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden with decent lacing. Nose - lemon with sweet malt notes. Generally shandy-ish. Taste - more sweet malt and lemon. A touch of caramel. Palate - light bodied, fairly clean finish. Overall - a solid citizen.
