Cask at the Cardinals Hat, Lincoln. Pale amber colour with a white head. Malty and slight caramel fruity. Medium body.

Keg at Silchester Farm. Aroma is light and grainy. Opaque amber brown. Thick foamy white head. Grainy bitterness. Develops tangy berries. But grains win out. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice enough.

Pours a hazy amber colour with a small off-white head. The aroma is malty, caramel, dried figs and leafy hops. A moderately sweet malty taste, brown bread, caramel and toffee flavours with some fruity and nutty notes and a moderately bitter finish.

Cask at Cask, Pimlico. Pours clear copper amber with a beige head. Aroma: biscuit malts & caramel. Taste: light sweet & light to moderate bitter, biscuit malts, fruity earthy, light floral. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Not bad at all.

330ml bottle. Poured a medium amber colour with a huge frothy white head. The aroma is malt, herbal, woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, nutty, herbal, light pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A fine example of the style.

Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 22nd January 2020. Coppery amber with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Malty aroma with touch of cherry and strawberry fruits. Bitter hoppiness in-mouth and a bitter finish with tangy fruits in the upper mouth. Light bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Cask, 25/06/17. Golden copper with a well appointed egg shell white head. Nose is caramel, light fruit esters, straw, hint of brown sugar. Taste comprises toffee, brown bread, caramel, airy malts, grains, nutty, toasted brown sugar. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with balanced bitterness. Decent bitter.
