Bottle from a mini bar in Tubingen. Deep gold with a large white head. Aroma of buttered wheat. Flavour is sweet malt, butter, banana, smooth light bitter finish. Why the screw top? Makes a beer look tacky.

Almost clear golden but still a little hazy. Aroma is typical weizen with an interestingherbal note. Taste was not as great. Bitterness with some booze. Not as refreshing as the aroma is. Overall an average weizen.

Screw-cap bottle (Dank an Stefan!): Pale golden to golden, hazy, big - slowly collapsing - beaten-egg-white-like head; sweet-sourish wheaty nose with a distinctive citrussy touch; light to moderate sweet-sourish flavour, quite light bodied for a beer of 5.5%, but pretty soft; sweet finish with a citrussy touch. Quite well drinkable..........

(screw cap bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy, golden colour with a blond, steady and tall foamy head. Moderately sweet and yeasty wheaty and malty aroma with delicate notes of banana, citrus, as well as a minimally grassy hoppy touch. Slightly sweet and sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Present wheat-malty taste with notes of citrus and banana, accompanied by very mild phenolic spices; slightly sweet and sour-tart finish. 20.IV.11
