A hint of initial sweetness adds to the fruitiness and grapefruit tang of this summer ale without detracting from its clean flavour and rich hop aroma.

Brasserie 4:20 (cask). Corpo leggero, carbonazione corretta, freschissima e beverina. Ottima golden ale.

Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Clear yellowy golden pour with a fading mid sized white head. Aroma had some fragrant hop, citrus and sweet malt notes that continued on into the flavour. Ok bitterness. Easy drinking and solid enough brew, that isnโ€™t devoid of some appeal.

Half, hand pulled cask served at the right drinking temperature at CP&K, Pimlico. A filmy layer at the top of a clear, light golden body. Grass with hints of malts to the nose. Hop fruity taste along with lighter notes a earthy malts. Nice rounded bitter end. Oily palate. Summer feel (London, 29.07.2011).
