0.33 l bottle from abemorsten, thanks! It poured clear deep brown body with small brownish head. Simple sweet caramel aroma. Flavor was moderately sweet dark malty with slight bitter roasted note. Medium body. Some chocolate shows in the finish besides caramel, but it’s mostly quite simple, although pleasant brew.

Draught at Bishops Arms Järntorget, on August 31, 2012Clear dark red brown color, nice lasting flutty tan head. Fruity, plums, apple; berry, lychee, currants, lime scent; also some cream, as well as straw lying in the sun. Grains, sweet, nutty, minerals taste. Taste feels sort of unfisnished, hints to chalk and dry wall. Fruity and grainy aftertaste. Spritzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness that is more to the dry side.

A bottle at ICA: Pours a clear brown colour with a small head. Aroma is caramel malt with a kind of "metallic" smell. Taste is pretty light. There is some nuttiness. Some macro-ish type flavour in there as well. Caramel is pretty minimal. This is not very sweet, but rather bitter without much hop character. It is an OK, but not great Brown Ale.

0,33flaske. Behagelig men litt tilbaketrukket aroma men hint av sjokolade, nøtter og humlestreif. Så også smaken: behagelig uten å utfordre ganen. Godt butikkøl, men uten tydelig personlighet som f.eks. Lucky Jack.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden to brown beer, with a small, off-white to light beige head on top. The aroma is malty and lightly roasted, with caramel and some grassy nops. Medium sweet flavor with roasted malts and caramel. Medium to full body, quite dry, and pleasantly carbonated. Roasted finish with some metallic notes. Like most brown ales, it’s rather boring, but it’s tasteful and easy drinking. 110930

Bottle 33 cl. Brown clear with a shortlived lightbrown head. Light roasted aroma with some chocolate sence. Sweet taste with a not to good somewhat roasted end to it. Tha label and name was better than the beer...
