A classic country ale, First Call is brewed with a single hop variety for purity and character. The dwarf hop First Gold grows in low hedgerows enabling a better quality harvest. A clean, fresh, distinctive beer with hints of orange and spice from the hop.

Bottle. Golden beer with a dry malty and hopped aroma. The flavour is very dry, with a malty vinous finish. Overall a reasonable but basic beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear amber with a tiny head. Weak caramelish aroma. Soft, sweetish with some lightly fruity notes and a touch of nuts. Almost no bitterness. A very classical and pleasant session beer. 291005
