A classic country ale, First Call is brewed with a single hop variety for purity and character. The dwarf hop First Gold grows in low hedgerows enabling a better quality harvest. A clean, fresh, distinctive beer with hints of orange and spice from the hop.

Bottled@Chris O Post GBBF tasting.Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is malts, hops and quite blag. Flavour is hops, mild fruits and some mild yeasty earthyness.

Bottle. Amber brown with good head. Hop aroma with hint of toffee. Light body and carbonation. Malt and caramel flavour shifting to hoppy bitterness and bread. Lovely simple beer.

ร…rhus2008. 50 cL can. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is mild spiced and light hoppy. Flavour follows this with a mild hoppy note showing some light fruity and fresh accents. Medium dry flavour into the finish. Light bitterness in the far finish.

Bottle. Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate toasted, roasted, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, orange / lime, spicy, light apple notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (301207)
