Can (from Maku, thanks Alex M!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some leathery tones with mild alcohol and some slight alcohol to it. Flavour is roasted, some alcohol, nutty, mild smoked and some even peaty tones with a bit of leathery tones.

330ml can, 0835, bought at Alko, Kilpis. A firm, lasting fawn-coloured head over a deep ruby-black body, spotty lacing. Attractive aromas of caramel malts and almond, slightly roasted. Solid taste profile of caramel-chocolate, joined by dark bread and almond, woody. Smoothly roasted bittersweet ending, mid-dry. Full bodied. Nice. (Tromsø, 08.05.2024).

[ As Maku Imperial Stout ].
ABV: 10.0%. Clear dark dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration, dark malt, chocolate - roasted, sweet malt, woody touch. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20240424]
