Hazy double IPA by La Source, pint from tap there (during the BXL Beerfest afterparty). Snow white, moussy, shred-lacing, slowly breaking head on a cloudy yolk-yellow blonde beer with vaguely greenish tinge. Aroma of dried lemon zest, pomelo juice, green mango, Conference pear, lemonbread, unripe banana, green onions, lemonbalm and a subtle ‘dank’ sweaty note. Crisp, ‘green-fruity’ onset, green melon and unripe banana, crisp carbonation, supple yet sometimes slightly powdery mouthfeel (not that this bothers me in this kind of beers). Soggy cracker-like malt core under primarily green and citric hop aromas, pomelo, green onion, lemongrass and lime zest notes, providing a pleasantly drying and spicy, grassy bitterness as well, more so than is typically the case in a NEDIPA. The alcohol warms a little bit but remains generally well hidden – an important point for me especially in this type of beers. Dry for a NEDIPA, but very decent, typical reliable Source quality I would argue.

A murky, light yellow beer, a head is medium and white. Aroma has pineapple, mango, grapefruit. Taset has grapefruit, light pineapple, fructose, also nice bitterness, hint of alcohol. Medium bodied. Pretty nice.

Can at home in the garden, 19th June 22. Pours a cloudy yellow orange. Aroma is pineapple and citrus. Taste is smooth, so smooth, creamy, citrus and pineapple, some pine, soft, peach and a medium bitter, gritty finish. Very nice IPA

Can picked up from the brewery in Brussels and consumed at home Monday 9th May 2022 around Jude and Baz's at Spond, Nr Kington, Herefordshire. Pours warm hazy gold with a white head. Thick mouthfeel, juicy and sweet but bitterness is there and builds, tropical fruit. Good and very easy drinking for the abv.
