Lacto Milk Stout is a beer crafted according to the original recipe of 1946. Lacto Milk Stout is a light-bodied, sweet, classic milk stout, creamy and smooth, with rich flavours suggesting dark chocolate and currants notes.
Frequently also used as a cooking ingredient, Lacto Milk Stout has been a trusted household name for over 60 years. The beer’s unique characteristics make Lacto Milk Stout the perfect match to accompany rich, spicy food like BBQ beef as well as the perfect marinade for stews, chicken and red meats. Due to the beer’s creamy and smooth finish, it is also recommended to enjoy Lacto Milk Stout to complement desserts such as chocolate cake and profiteroles. Lacto Milk Stout is traditionally used as an ingredient in Christmas puddings.

Bottle 330ml (BB 05.2018). Dark brown colour, beige head. There are bread, caramel, fruits like plum notes in aroma and only subtle hint od lactose. Dark bread, caramel, dry plum in taste. Beer is watery without main flavour, flat in feeling, really nothing special and the lactose is only very subtle marked in the beer.

Bottle from YantarCoast. Huge thanks, Mark. Deep brown pour, small quickly diminishing beige head. Aroma: esters, blood, dark malts. Light body. The taste reminded me of a mild ale. Caeamel, esters, toffee. A touch of roastiness only on ending. Pleasant hoppy aftertaste. A new country tick makes me happy. The beer is just mediocre

Bottle at farsons beer festival. Dark brown color tan head creamy. Aroma of sugary dark malts, some other undefined stuff. Taste sweetish, smooth texture, soft carbonation, fluffy finish. Light sweet stout, not really my preference.

250ml bottle. Pours black with a brief tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits. Taste is sweet, watery, prunes, chocolate malt, lactose. Light bitter finish. Rather thin for a stout.

F: big, brown, not long lasting. C: dark, opaque. A: roasted malt, hint of coffee, with some dark fruits, caramel. T: malt, caramel, salt, light coffee, hint of lacto tones, light to medium body, medium carbonation, too watery for me, 250ml bottle from Chain foodstore in the Point Shopping Mall in Sliema.

Coffe-like appearance of dark brown colour and not too much creamy beige head; aroma of toffee filled chocolate, cocoa some herbal and floral notes; taste is the same with some dried plum and cherry, as well as syrupy notes; among the better beers brewed by Farsons

Country #35 - Malta 🇲🇹 Pretty lacking of any flavor. I've had worse, but I don't think I'd ever drink this again by choice.

Shared 11.2 oz. bottle. Pours dark brown, almost black, with an inconsistent beige head. Subdued aroma of dark malts, some dark fruits, and vinous notes. Taste is more malty, with less dark fruits than aroma would indicate, faint chocolate, and lactose. Some oxidation present; might be a bit stale. Not good.

0.25l bottle, thanks to Cristobal37. Black body, thin tan head. Aroma of caramel, cocoa and floral hops. Taste of caramel, toast, sour cherry and cocoa. The finish is not so long lasting, the body is weak, and it’s not that sweet for a milk stout, but still a nice one.
