0.25l bottle, thanks to Cristobal37. Black body, thin tan head. Aroma of caramel, cocoa and floral hops. Taste of caramel, toast, sour cherry and cocoa. The finish is not so long lasting, the body is weak, and it’s not that sweet for a milk stout, but still a nice one.

Pours a dark brown with some red undertone, topped with a medium sized beige colored head. Malty aroma, biscuity, caramel and chocolate, perhaps some dark fruity notes. Taste is sweet and a bit bready, with significant soury notes.

Bottle brought back from Malta by Cecile. Pours a deep dark brown with a good sized tan colour head, dimishing to little more than a ring around the edge of the glass. Aroma of sweet malt, prune and raisins. Heavily sweet, with a light sourness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle from a Sliema supermarket. Poured a clear dark brown with a broken light tan head. The aroma is burnt roasted malt, liqourice. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a light watery malt liqourice bitter, very light caramel palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Not what I expected at all. A "sweet milk stout"? It was way too light, way too bitter and lacked flavour. The lingering bitter aftertaste was not all that pleasant either.

Bottle from the Supermarket in Sliema, Malta. It pours near black with a decent tan head. The nose is roasty, milk chocolate, coffee and chewy caramel. The taste is smooth, roasted malt, coffee grounds, toast, very light lactose, mild bitterness and a touch of acidity with a dry finish. Light+ body and moderate carbonation. Not a whole lot of depth to it, but the balance works pretty well.

Well-known old-fashioned milk stout with milk sugar added. Yellow beige, dense foam, colour near black. Gentle aroma of milk powder, chocolate, cream, coffee beans, roasted grains, raisins, caramel. Sweetish taste with very creamy, not to say ’milky’ mouthfeel, caramel smoothness, soft finish with only very light roasted bitterness, as is custom for a sweet stout. I know not everyone likes this waning style, but this is a good example of it.

Svart med tykt kaffelatte skum. Karamell, malt og brunt sukker. Mest søte nyanser av karamell og kandissukker i smaken, med en liten anelse kaffebitter avslutning
