NL 3 Fonteinen Zenne y Frontera is een unieke creatie van Armand Debelder en maître-sommelier Andy De Brouwer. Dit natuurlijke millésime bier is een assemblage van jonge traditionele lambikken die verder gerust hebben op veertig jarige en oudere authentieke Oloroso, Amontillado en/of Pedro Ximé-nez sherryvaten. Zenne y Frontera is de perfecte symbiose van enkele koppige karakters, vele wilde ideeën, immens fijne aroma’s en twee mooie streken!EN 3 Fonteinen Zenne y Frontera is a unique creation of Armand Debelder and maître-sommelier Andy De Brouwer. This natural millésime beer is a blend of young traditional lambics that have aged on forty-year-and-older authentic Oloroso, Amontillado and/or Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Zenne y Frontera is the perfect symbiosis of a few stubborn characters, a lot of wild ideas, a vast palette of aromas and two beautiful regions!

Backlog p g a att posten försvunnit vid bytet från Ratebeer. Köpt på Systembolaget och drucken med ölföreningen. Min andra Z&F. Kryddig med mycket fatkaraktär. Komplex och lite utmanande men fantastiskt god

13.01.2024: 0,75l bottle at Miros bday tasting, Zagreb. Dark yellow cloudy color, small white head. smells sherry, funky, cheesy, very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes sherry, citric, grassy, earthy, funky, nutty. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of sherry, nutty and citric notes.

19.06.2024: 0,75l bottle at home. Blend 93 18/19 amber hazy color, small white head. smells funky, earthy, sherry, nutty, lovely funky notes. full body, light carbonation. tastes funky, sherry, citric, grassy, earthy, herbal, oxidized, walnuts. finishes lightly dry and light to medium sour with notes of sherry, walnuts and herbal notes. very nice one, almost a tad too dry and sour for me.

03. Aug. 2025: 0,75l bottle shared at home. yellow rather hazy color, small white head. smells funky, oak, walnuts, peppery. Very nice smell. full body soft carbonation. tastes subtle curry, funky, peppery, oak, walnuts, peppery, umami. finishes lightly dry and light to medium sour with notes of oak, walnuts and umami. Very nice one

Funkilicious, tons of sherry tangy finish. Upfront gueuze deliciousness. Finish is packing truckloads of tangy sherry.

Bottled@Alex Tasting 2021. Amber hazy colour with a small white head. Aroma is spicy, tart wood and some slight acidity. Flavour is tart and slightly acidic fruitiness with some wood. Pleasantly balanced and highly drinkable.

Sample from bottle @ Pien, Helsinki. Vertical 92-94. Sour, funky and sweetish with some sherry, oak and vinous notes. Quite complex and juicy.

Last beer of 2020, first beer of 2021. Pours cloudy amber to orange with a small creamy off-white head. Medium lacing. Awesome. Aroma is funk, barnyard, less sherry than the blend 94. Taste is wood, funk, soft sherry, green apples and vinegar. Bit sharp but delicious.

Semi-hazy amber pour with a thin off-white head. Notes of mineral funk, 3F funk, metallic oxidation, apple cider vinegar, oak.

Bottle thanks to Anthony. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong funk, barnyard, sherry, oak, apple skin. Slick body, apple skin, oak, sherry, funk, nice tartness, really enjoyed this.
