The acronym CLAC stands for Cinsault, Lambic, Alicante, and Carignan, denoting the three grape varieties (trois cépages) and is the first Cantillon lambic to contain a blend of three different grapes. According to the brewery, each of the grape varieties were macerated separately and then blended together.

Draft @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas - Zwanze day 2021.
Couleur pourpre, col fin blanc.

Bottle at Cantillon. Pours a dark ruby with small pinkish white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong grape, berry, apple, funk, oak, floral. Medium body, grape, berry, citrus, oak, light funk, nice tartness, enjoyed this.

One of Cantillon's many new grape lambics, this one containing Alicante, Cinsault and Carignan grapes - hence 'CLAC', an acronym for Cinsault, Lambic, Alicante, and Carignan. Bottle shared by Johan at Cantillon, cheers! Moussy, dense but slowly opening, pinkish-white head on a misty ruby red robe with vermillion glow. Aroma of grape skins and grape seeds more than actual grape flesh but certainly a lot of grape juice and dry red wine as well, halfripe plum, moist old wood, cherry kernels, wild apples, grape seed oil, touch Bretty horseblanket but not too strong, wet leather, very old dry sherry. Very 'grapey' onset, a wealth of grapes indeed, with strong grape skin and seed tannins roughening the inherent juiciness a bit and working together with an unripe stonefruit- and red berry-like acidity; minerally undertone but somewhat more 'masked' by the sheer grape presence than in some other contemporary Cantillon fruit lambics. Supple bready core strongly dried by both the fruit's tannins and the lambic's own lemony sourness; dry and astringent red wine effect throughout, dominating the finish especially when this woodiness comes in. Dry, red-fruity, astringent but very full and vinous grape lambic, complex, bold and sophisticated - neatly fitting in the tradition of Cantillon's finest grape lambics throughout the years.

14/VIII/21 - 75cl bottle, shared @ Cantillon brewery (Brussels), BB: n/a, bottled: 22/XI/19 (2021-792) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
Clear deep ruby red beer, small creamy white to light pink head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very aromatic, bit weird, funky, some tannins, cheesy smell, definitely not the best. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sourish, dry, some tannins, some vinegar, acidic touch. Aftertaste: dry, some tannins, red fruits, grapes, vinegar, dusty touch, little dirty, red wine. Not my favorite at all…

Bottle. Hazy ruby color with white head. Aroma is a bit actimel, red grapes, yoghurt, just mild funk. Taste is nicely peppery, tannic, a bit juicy grapes. Rather dry finish, low carbonation. Nice one, but the smell is a bit too milky for me. The actimel goes away after a little while, then it is really good!

Pours unclear, dark pink. Nearly no, white head. Smell is full, mild 'sweet' impression by the fruityness (red fruits) . Very grape-forward. Taste is full, sharp tartness. Mildly acitic. Full on fruityness. Fairly easy drinker. not mindblown though.
