Bottle: Deep golden, small and lacy off-white head, moderate sweetish nutty-toasty nose with a delicate malt-bitterness underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; shorter nutty-malty finish with a little touch of medical hops in the aftertaste. Nice, well crsftrd brew, could be a bit hoppier.…

(bottle, 7.4% abv) Clear, deep golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Cara-malty aroma with notes of biscuits, a subtle touch of citrus, accompanied by herbal and slightly grass hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Balanced (cara-)malty and herbal hoppy taste with subtle fruity and grassy notes; moderately sweet and bitter finish with rounded malty and hoppy notes. The alcohol is warming and well-embedded. Nice one. 31.V.11

Gleichfalls herb. Unspektakulärer aber trinkbarer Bock. 8/9/9/9/10/9

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts hoppy, strong, quite dry. The beer cannot "decide" between hoppy-dry and sweet-malty. Finish much sweeter than the beginning. All in all too unbalanced. Not more than average!

Bottle, 7.4%. Papery aroma, hint of marcipan. Clear dark golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour also has a little paper, there is some light malt. Hint of caramel in the finish along with a good, distinct alcohol flavour makes it quite pleasant.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and some bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, bread, and malt, leading to a dry lightly alcoholic finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a deep golden with a white head. Massive malts in the nose with some alcohol. Solid body, again loads of sweet malts decently balanced by the hops leaving some bitterness. Falls into the borderland between Heller and Dunkler Bock. 210210
