750ml (thx, Jens A. B.!) @ Ryan's. Vintage 2021. Appearance: slightly hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: weirdly dirty like it was brewed on low-quality brewing equipment with a poor quality control. Taste: along the same lines, quite acidic, no funk. Overall: the worst Cantillon I've ever had to date, unfortunately :-(

Pale gold, a bit dull. The aroma is interesting, lightly grapey, and on the palate this character really jumps out. The tartness is mellow, especially for Cantillon. Just a touch of horsey character. Much more on the vinous accents. This is pretty good, not as much on the lambic complexity but definitely hitting on the vinous character.

750mL bottle, pours a mostly clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out overripe white grape, gentle funk, garbage water and some acidity. Flavour is very funky, with a mega-overripe white grape character, gentle acidity, and funk. Lots of overripe grape character on the finish. There's something not sitting exactly right about this. The smell is quite terrible — garbagey. It's good taste-wise but the overripe, garbage-y character is a bit off.

Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Wingman Dave. A mostly clear straw gold coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is cracked pepper, dry white grape, seaweed, funky citrus , salt, Flavour is composed of damp hay, sharp prickly citrus, lime pickle, pinch of salt, woody oak, funky, vinous. Palate is super sharp puckering highish carbonation, lingering sharp lemon.

Panda at home, big thanks to Dave, 08/02/23. Clear golden with a moderate white head that veers edgewards. Nose is grape must, funk, dry rot, hay bale, green berry fruit tang, light citric presence. Taste comprises white grape must, light acidic throat scrape, funk, barnyard, white wine barrel, hay bale, hint of green apple. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced acidic rise. Solid work.

Bottle at the brewery. Pours clear light golden with a fluffy white head thar fades to clinging to the glass. Aroma is loads of barnyard fink, oak, gooseberry, white grape, raisin. Taste is gooseberry, white grape, melon, funk, oak and raisins. Maybe a hint of butterscotch. Nice sharp drying finish with fruits shining through. Lovely!

750ml bottle. 2019/20. Poured a very light yellow color, kind of a light lime-green color, with a touch of haze and a wispy head. Aroma was really delicate. Delicious lemon, some light funk. Flavor was really nice, funky woody notes, light grassy notes. Tart, but not overly sour. Very delicate.
