Remember thinking this was the bees pyjamas the first time I had it, probably ten years ago, but now it's either changed, or my taste has! Still a decent enough pale ale - pours pale amber with a frothy white head, and a fruity, hoppy aroma. Smooth bodied and a nicely balanced fruit malt and citrus fruit flavour, with floral hop/citrus bitterness in the finish.

Draft. An unclear red-golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus fruits, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Half pint at Hickory's Smokehouse, Castle Bromwich October 2020. Pours dark gold, small smooth white head, lovely retention and lacing. Aroma of fruity hops. Taste is grapefruit, orange, biscuit malts with a decent level of bitterness in the finish. Quite smooth and soft carbonation. Very good pale ale.
