Our herd of Longhorn cattle that reside on the farm at Purity are a beautiful thoroughbred herd. These heritage beasts with their magnificent horns, the best-balanced character graze on the luscious green grass of our Warwickshire farm and feed on our finest spent grain Just like our cattle Longhorn IPA is full of character taking only the best characteristics of American and English Pale ales, combined with enticing hop aromas, sweet rye malt backbone and decisive bitterness that all balance together to produce a beer that is bred to perfection.

Cask at the Willow Walk, 28/10/13. Clear golden amber with a moderately sized off white head. Nose is caramel malt, light hoppage, grass, hint of grapefruit, bitter orange. Taste comprises citric hops, light grapefruit notes, orange pith, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, slightly dry climax with subtle hop bitterness. Decent offering, one of the better beers of the festival for me.

Cask at the Tyburn, JDW - London. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Bright citrus in the aroma, orange and tangerine, some pine needles. Light sweet flavor with somewhat jammy citrus, more pine, dirty hay. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Good condition. Mild resinous pine to finish, citrus rind, bitter dirty hay. Not bad.

Cask handpull at Victoria Spoons. Clear amber colour lasting off white head. Some good American fruity hops on this. I thought a tasty enjoyable beer. Probably the 2nd best of the festival so far. Good drying bitterness on the finish. Good beer
