Bottle from kihoskh. pitch dark smooth light brown head. Hard roasted malty aroma, not very sweet, no off flavors, clean and simple. Quite heavy. Flavor of roasted malts, high bitterness, notes of coffe, so roasted that it almost gets citrussy. ends very roasted. faint notes of charchoal. If you like clean no-nonsense imperial porter, then you’ll like this one a lot.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 9C). Bottle 65 cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: complex with a slight vinous aspect, dried plums, dark chocolate/coffe and a complementary peppery alcohol background. APPEARANCE: very dark brown and clear with ruby highlights. average light brown head with below average retention. TASTE: initial sweet flavour with notes of dried plums that evolve into dark chocolate / coffe. slight vinous-like character. medium-low bitterness from hops and roasted malts with a semi-dry and roasted finish. PALATE: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a very nice imperial / baltic Porter with a plethora of sensations.

22 oz bottle poured at a tasting. From notes DeScription here says it all. Pours a near black with a tan fizz head. Lighter than expected body, soft coffee flavor, bold dark fruit hints, and a touch on the smokey side. Late smokey linger. Good beer here.

0.65 l bottle from Pivoteka Zagreb. Shared with Vi?nja666, Goran and the musicians. Black with red tint, small tan head. To much coffee aroma, not very complex. Spices, alcohol, some fruits. Body to thin. Sweet chocolate, some dryness from the hops in the finish. It’s drinkable for it’s strength, but not complex.
