We’ve dialed down one of our most legendary West Coast IPA recipes to create a 5.1% homage to these bitingly bitter IPAs.
Awash with all the pithy, sticky hop characteristics we fell for some 13 years ago, Jagged Edge showcases some of the finest new world hops, boasting a clawing bitterness that coats the mouth amidst a biscuity base.

330ml can from Morrisons. Look - slightly hazy yellow-gold, small white head with thin scattered retention and high looking carbonation. Nose - lovely citrus aroma Taste - disappointing cardboardy dull hops, some citrus, grapefruit and resin with a moderate bitterness. Flavour is a bit thin. Palate - light to moderate, slight chewiness, medium carbonation. Not getting the liking for this one but its not terrible.

Can from Waitrose. Very light hazed golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is lime and citrus lemon taste is sweet with a slight dryness, light body.

Sample from a Can. A clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of lemon fruits, zest, pale malt. Taste of lemon juice, grapefruit, zest, pale malt, moderate bitterness.

Fruchtiger, hell herber Beginn. Trocken, ansteigende Bitterkeit, etwas grasig. Bitterer, rund hopfiger Mittelteil, blumige, fast parfümierte Noten, hohe Süffigkeit, langer Nachhall. Gelungen. 10/9/11/11/8/11

Slight hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of floral hops, fruits and citrus. Flavour is light moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

33cl. Floral fresh nose. The beer starts fruity with a nice dry creamy back. Grain, earthy floralness with tropical twist. Smooth and grainy soft and very dry bittered in the finish.

Smell of hops, citrus. Hazy straw colour, very high white head. Aroma of hops, some flowers and citrus, other fruit. Not very spiky. Medium bitter, light body. Flat carbon.
