At De Heeren Van Liedekercke, bottle from 1984, 25 years old, brewed by Martins
Bright dark amber color. light Madeira aroma, oxidized, very light apples, alcohol, liquor. Some caramel aroma, sweetish, without carbonation, and without bitterness. Not ugly, but surely it lost most of it.

Bottle, 5.1%. Caramelly, fruity, slightly spicy aroma. Sparkling, clear chestnut colour. Big stable tan head. The flavour is good, a little sweet with some caramel. Ends with a little bitterness. Flavourful but easily drinkable.

Bottle. Clear amber color with a average frothy good lacing fully lasting white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, light sugar. Flavor is light sweet and bitter with a average to short duration. A bit borring / industrial - not special. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

Bottled (BB 01/2008)
Copper color, a big cloudy white head, lace. Papery malty, a bit herbal aroma. Slightly bitter, grassy, a bit crisp, but balanced. Nice sweetish ale, I even could drink this as a session beer.

Bottled. Deep golden. Aroma of vanilla and banana. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Some estery banana break off from the flavour profile.

(Bottle 25 cl Dark golden - almost amber, decent head. Lovely, caramel-like maltiness on a dry background. Decent brew but far from the best "Speciale". 110795
