Also, a 500 ml can from Yamaya. They got in a new cheap tick! Somewhat black with a tall, frothy head. Nose of chocolate, caramel, quite malty and a bit sugary. Sugary flavor, caramel, light coffee, hard to believe this is Reinheitsgebot. Corny and sugary. Weak body. Pretty much crap, like everything from this brewery.

50 cl can, unexpensive. Dark brown color, short brownish head. Toasted nose. Aroma of roasted malts, hints of biscuits, butter and charcoal. Taste is sweetish. Finish is unexpectedly dry. Thin body, watery, a bit dusty. Cheap.

Bottle @ DØE meeting. Pours dark brown with a creamy offwhite head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, roast, grain, hay. Flavor is malts, roast, grainy, hay. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation. 150513

Bottle. Pours clear dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of yeast with some notes of malt and hops. Bitter, slightly roasty flavour of malt with touches of coffee beans. Dryish aftertaste. Slightly watery mouthfeel. A decent schwarzbier.

Aroma: The nose is light and simple, with roast, caramel, toast, and just a hint of smoke
Appearance: Pours a dark brown-black color with a small off-white head that leaves drippy lace
Flavor: Tastes a little sweet, with malty flavors, and very light notes of bitterness and smoke
Palate: The body is rather light/watery, with a thin feel and a relatively short duration
Overall Impression: Thanks Mike! I was not all that impressed by this one, but it isn’t bad. It is a drinkable beer with some OK flavors, but it came off a little lacking.

Bottle looks terrible, very much like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass much better, deep black, nice head. Starts mild-malty, fine roasty, some smokey notes. Background a bit metallically. Finish milder, still fine malty-roasty. Much better than exspected.
