This beer is the stickiest of the icky. It's a luxuriously hoppy IPA loaded up with intemperate quantities of Nelson, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops, which are some of the fruitiest, dankest hops sweet, sweet money can buy. Its pleasingly dry character and lightly bready malt backbone form a magnificent platform for its huge, complex hop profile. Prepare to have your flavor ports stormed by an armada of interdimensional taste lords.

Pours gold into a pint. Tan head with little retention recedes to nothing. Resin and grapefruit aromas. Sweet caramel and resin upfront turning to dank weed and grapefruit in the lasting finish.

473ml can from BrewDog. Hazy golden amber colour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma: hops, tropical fruit, grapefruit, citrus, pine. Taste: fruity, tropical fruit, citrus, slightly vinous, bready malt, piney resin. Dry and bitter, medium bodied. If this is an amber ale it’s the best I’ve had so far, bit different to others in that it’s really hoppy and IPA-like, but I like that.

16oz can pours a clear amber with some soapy, white head. Nose has a clear caramel and grist character, zippy pine, orange, soap. Flavor has some black tea, biscuit, pine, some butterscotch, caramel, mild black pepper, a little herbs and fresh cream. Bitter and dry finish. Very drinkable.

Nice amber body, crazy dank in a very good way. Long lingering bitterness, sweet hops. I could drink gallons of this!

Can from De Caigny, BB Dec 2016, shared with Benzai, medium sample. Almost clear amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of grapefruit and line, some caramel malts, slight biscuit. Slight malty sweetness in taste, medium bitterness. Not superfresh, but still very tasty.
