Gold with a frothy, white head. A subdued grassy, vaguely grainy aroma does little to inspire. Bitter throughout with a grassy, lightly spiced, hoppy kick at the finish. Well hopped for a Helles. Body to the light side of medium, moderately watery texture that carries into the finish. Feels a bit unbalanced. Drinkable.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a small yet lacing, white head. Nose has discreet citrus but also a faint, buttery note. Medium body, lightly sweet grainy and rustic malts with a dry but not overly bitter finish. Not much IPL here, way more standard South German Pils. 101025

500ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow white head. Minimally spicy, pale malty and slightly fruity, minimally floral and citrusy, hoppy aroma, a touch of melon, sorrel and nettle. Taste is slightly grassy and floral, minimally fruity hoppy, minimally spicy, pale malty basis, hints of sorrel, a touch of nettle and melon. Oily-watery texture, smooth and minimally greasy, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice mouthfeel, fairly hoppy - quite OK.

Flascherl: Clear, greenish-golden coloured, small but persistent white creamy foamy layer, sweetish-bitter grainy nose with an illusion of citrussy hops in the background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium bodied; lingering bitter-fruity and grainy finish. Good stuff...

Hell goldene, klare Farbe. Recht anständige Hopfung (für ein bayerisches Helles). Eine angenehm trockene Getreidenote wird von leichten Fruchtnoten und sehr milden floralen Nuancen unterstützt. Recht süffig, dabei aber trotzdem kräftig im Geschmack. Sehr solide gemacht.

0.5l tap. Clear dark golden with a stable creamy head. Dry grassy hops, citrus, hay, bread. Mild dry bitterness. Light bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry bitter finish. Easy going, well hopped and very drinkable.
